When is providence pride

The impact of Pride on the Providence community, especially youth, cannot be understated — and goes to show how important it is to resurrect the tradition after a tumultuous year. I was honored to be there and help him experience his first Pride, and was really heartened by the knowledge that, despite the challenges we still face, he is able to come of age in such an inclusive community that allows us to live who we were born to be.

The Stable also host their own block party event with a special T Dance on Sunday from 12pm to 8pm. PrideFest is a family-friendly event and according to Rhode Island Pride, the daytime celebration is for all ages and the nighttime portion is PG PrideFest is dog-friendly. The main reviewing area is at the Providence Performing Arts Center under the marquee. Empire Street is a great place for a seat to watch the parade. The parade features a dazzling display of brightly lit floats, performing artists, marching groups and tens of thousands of spectators. The energy in the city is truly electric.
