The bridleway from Great Rollright, having ascended from the valley bottom, levels out as it approaches the wood. The Macmillan Way long distance footpath descends through Whichford Wood from the junction with the bridleway.

The Macmillan Way continues to the right of the image whilst the bridleway goes to the right of the image up to the minor road. Along the top of the woods. A good bridleway skirts the southern edge of Whichford Wood, providing excellent walking and riding.

This is part of the Macmillan Way long distance path. One of a number of excellent bridleways and footpath through Whichford Woods. Very popular in the spring, but probably quite muddy in winter. Broadway Tower is another exciting place to visit. There are several good restaurants and takeaways in the local area.
